About

Nick and Chandie live in Fort Assiniboine Alberta, and at the lodge during the summer. They are parents to 7 children, some of whom can be seen at the lodge helping, fishing, and entertaining. While not at the lodge they enjoy their little farm, with their horses. They raise all the delicious chickens you get a chance to eat at the lodge.

Nick has been involved in outfitting since he was 14. He spends every bit of spare time fishing, hunting, and enjoying the bush. Chandie is a farm girl who has enjoyed cooking for harvest crews since she was 12. She loves fishing, horses, and the great outdoors.

Together, Nick and Chandie and their kids work hard to build the family environment and peaceful experience in nature that our lodge stands for. Old fashioned hospitality meets pristine wilderness, creating a unique and unforgettable experience for you. Most of our clients become regulars, coming back year after year for the friendship, fishing, and food.
